Checks for the USB connection and account readings.
Connect USB and the companion app
- If the meter isn't found, try a USB cable you know carries data and check the selected port.
- If the meter connects but the screen stays blank, unplug USB and check display power, wiring and the selected screen size.
Choose your coding agent
- Make sure the selected agent matches the account you want to see.
- A reading marked stale is out of date. It isn't your current allowance.
Check reconnection
- After reconnecting, check the port again. If its name changed, select the new one.
- If the board or wiring is hot or damaged, unplug power and fix that before testing again.

Check your board and headers
- Make sure the adapter matches your XIAO board model and header direction.
- The adapter fits two 7-pin header rows with 2.54 mm spacing. Boards with the same pin spacing won't necessarily fit.

- The printed adapter and its connector pieces. The XIAO board, battery, USB cable and jumper wires are not included.

- Choose the right size
Match your connector housings
- Small fits single-pin housings about 12 × 2 × 2 mm. Large fits housings about 14 × 2.5 × 2.5 mm. Both come in 1 to 8 pins and 22 pins.
- Match the full header row on your board, even if you won't wire every pin: a 7-pin row needs a 7-pin connector, because a shorter one won't fit beside the unused pins. Measure your housings too; jumper wires with the same 2.54 mm pitch vary in size between brands.
What's included
- One comb and one matching cover, for a single header row. Jumper wires, metal terminals, headers and boards are not included.
